Ruby Schneider, (b. 2000, Los Angeles) is a Bay Area based oil painter whose work draws on photographic fragments and collage to explore memory, place, and identity. Her paintings linger in the space between the personal and the universal, where a snapshot of the everyday becomes a vessel for nostalgia. Her process is slow, deliberate, and tender: she weaves together images into layered compositions—part collage, part reflection.
